We absolutely loved it! We done the private pottery class as the group was not available. We were surprisingly decent despite it being our first time but we put that down to the brilliant teacher. I didn’t get her name but she was wonderful! Very patient, welcoming and chatty. Thank you to the staff at The Slightly Curious Studio!! We will be back soon

The session with Sampada was really great. She was a really helpful and patient teacher, and gave us plenty of time and space to get a feel for the wheel and make the pieces we wanted, rather than what she wanted to teach. The studio itself was lovely, and the session went down well as a birthday gift. Would happily recommend.

Great private class showing the basics to use the wheel and I was really happy of the outcome at the end of the 2 hours. Really relaxing experience.

Thank you Sampada for a wonderful first pottery lesson at your “The Slightly Curious Studio”. Very much enjoyed the experience; your enthusiasm and teaching skills helped us to produce pottery items that frankly, we thought we could not do. Your guidance and encouragement worked miracles. What an excellent way to spend an afternoon! Giuseppe and Barbara - a couple of happy brand new potters!
Richard - 13 August 2020
Amazing private session with Sampada. Showed me how to use the wheel and I ended up with some really great pieces thanks to her help and experience. Will definitely go again. Thank you so much Sampada.
Virginia Davis - 3 December 2019
The venue was lovely!! It is all glass (not quite!) but very light and airy - one side looks over the canal. The space is warm and inspiring with lots of pieces of pottery to get your creative juices flowing. I learnt a lot about clay, techniques, tips. Sampada demonstrated as she talked. It was a relaxed atmosphere to work in. Sampada was friendly and interested in members of the class and what we wanted to learn and what other creative things we did.

Went with friends again and it was another amazing class. They all liked it too. Would go again.

The studio is situated alongside a canal and added with lots of windows looking out onto houseboats and passing barges. Lovely atmosphere- located on the ground level of a block of flats. Sampada is a good teacher who is every good at explaining all the steps. A great experience.

Sampada was a great teacher who taught my parents and I various pottery making techniques in a private session for Mother's Day. It was a fun, upbeat environment and I'd recommend it to all! There were refreshments and she had made a gift bag with a handmade card, chocolates and flowers. I can't wait to return in the future
