The three day practical modern mosaic making course will cover building a 3D undulating surface as a custom substrate for your mosaic.

The mosaic will be made using smalti and marble, cut using either hammer and hardie or tile nippers.

You will gain understanding of transitions in colour and tone in the choice and placement of your tesserae to create movement resulting in a refined and harmonious finished piece with a sculptural quality which you can take home

The finished piece will be 30 x 45cm
