Frank Walters is an accomplished Watercolourist who is both engaging and knowledgeable as a teacher and very quickly he will have you soaking up his tips and tricks step by step to produce lively, fresh watercolour paintings.
This will suit anyone who has had a longing to learn a new watercolour techniques or refresh a past experience. He paints in a vibrant and impressionist style. His particular strength as an experienced tutor is to show you proven painting techniques to reliably create loose, expressive paintings capturing the essence of the subject matter eliminating unnecessary details.
He is both generous and clear with his knowledge and inspiring in his execution. Demonstrating every step of the way in his bold style, he will have you working fast and loose, bypassing the thought process.
Frank will be teaching the following Virtual Watercolour subjects. Regular Workshops bespoke subjects for students who wish to concentrate on specific subjects from including landscapes to structures and techniques from wet in wet to dry brush. In fact to watercolour subject or technique is left unturned on Franks exciting virtual journey of fun and learning.

About your host, Frank Watercolours
Frank Walters is an experienced artist and tutor of watercolour landscape and marine painting at frankwatercolours.com based in Chiswick, West London. Regular Watercolour Workshops for beginners and those wishing to advance their skills are held on Wednesday evenings at the iconic Mortlake, Anglian & Alpha boathouse on the banks of the River Thames.
You will need to have your own watercolour equipment at hand. Part of my Virtual Watercolour tuition is about getting all the right equipment. But to get you underway you will need the following equipment: No 6 & No 12 round watercolour sable/synthetic brushes. A tin of random watercolour paints which include blues, yellows and earth colours like burnt Sienna. Sheets or a block of cold press or rough watercolour paper. A pencil, rubber and a large jar of water
