Paint Your Pet

To make your painting as accurate and personal as possible, please bring a clear A4-sized printout of your pet. This will be used to trace the initial outline and for your reference. Pic Tips: Make sure the photo is clear and takes up most (if not all) of the A4 page. Try not to crop off any of the face or ears. Portrait photos where it shows the animals face clearly and is cropped at the torso will work best. We recommend upping the contrast and saturation on your photos before printing to give you more obvious highlights and shadows for reference. If you have a black dog we recommend a photo with lots of light so the definition of the fur is not lost. Only one pet is to be included in the picture. Photos can be printed at home on standard printing paper or through a local printing company. PLEASE PRINT FULL COLOUR. If you are still unsure please feel free to contact us with a couple of your best photos and we will suggest which will work best.

Tickets can be transferred to a different date up to 7 days before the event takes place. After this time, your ticket will either be forfeit or you can send someone in your place. Please note this is a strict policy as last-minute cancellations directly affect our small businesses and the Artists involved.

Then you've come to the right place! We will give you simple steps (no fancy lingo) so you can achieve great results even if you believe you have little to no artistic ability.

For this event, we ask that you focus on painting just one pet. This helps to reduce the difficulty and allows you to concentrate on the details, ensuring you can complete your portrait within the set timeframe. If you have multiple pets, you’re welcome to join us for another Paint Your Pet session to complete your set!

It's a fab day out but maybe don't wear your favourite outfit as even with the provided apron there is still a chance you could get paint on it.

Art enthusiasts of 10+ are welcome to attend as long as they are accompanied by an adult and both have their own ticket.

As much as we love your pets, we recommend leaving them at home for this event. This way, you can focus on creating their portrait without any distractions (or the potential chaos of 20+ pets in one room!). 🐾
