    • I really enjoy Paint and Chill evenings, and have had previous great experience, but for me you crammed too many people around the table, making it difficult and uncomfortable. You have difficulty doing the ā€˜sipā€™ part of paint and sip as nowhere to put your drink, & this latest event we were all literally shoulder to shoulder, giving no space at all Itā€™s a shame as I enjoyed the ā€˜eyeā€™ painting. I will probably not be returning to an event at this venue for that reason.

    • This was my 6th event because I absolutely love attending them! I've completed the dragonfly, bumblebee, flamingo, whale, sunflower & last night the jellyfish. These events have provided me with a new hobby & love for being creative. I now paint my own paintings at home, using the time for relaxation, creativity, wellbeing & embracing my innerchild. I proudly display my paintings on the wall of my stairs. Everyone sees them & they bring smiles to people's faces. I cannot wait to develop my skills next year where I am aiming for an event once a month! The ladies are lovely who run the events. They are friendly, encouraging & make the evening a great experience. Thank you, PaintChillCo. See you next in 2025!

    • A fun evening being creative. Am pleased with my painting - my only criticism of the evening is that the light in the room was dreadful. Very poor so much so I couldn't really see what colours I was using or how it looked on my canvas. A shame because it made a difference to my enjoyment!

Thank you Mavis. This was my 5th event & I've already booked my 6th event in November! I am really enjoying my new journey with painting & my skills are getting better through the tuition you receive on these events. I have started painting at home & between my own creations & those made at the events my hallway & stairs are looking amazing! Everyone who sees them smiles & tells me which one is their favourite. I love the buzz that gives me & the fun I feel while I paint! I am hooked! Thank you Ladies!

    • Took the family to celebrate a birthday and we absolutely loved the lesson, it was easy to follow and all of us produced a highland cow to be proud of!     • My daughter had never had an experience like this before, the set up was very impressive, it was clear that it didnā€™t matter where anyone was sat, they could all see. The instruction was extremely good and the instructor was excellent, she made sure to walk around to see how everyone was getting on and if any help was needed. It was amazing what was achieved in the 90 minute class. We will be visiting again.

She loved it and did a very good painting too !! Nothing was too rushed , children got advice and help if needed too. Great morning !!

    • Went to my first sip and paint event to paint the flamingo. I am absolutely shocking at art and drawing and am so proud of what I managed to produce. The girl leading the session was brilliant, she went at the perfect pace and gave us super clear and very helpful instructions. She was so positive and upbeat and made it a wonderful evening for everyone. I will definitely be booking on to more of these events, the only issue I have is which one to choose next!

    • Having been to a few evenings myself and having a daughter who is a budding artist, I was excited to see that kids sessions were being offered for the summer holidays. Being one of the youngest, I wasnā€™t sure how my daughter would get on but she had a great morning and is very proud of the painting she has created. The teacher went at a good pace and her instructions and modelling was clear for the children to follow. My only criticism is in relation to the parents who decided to stand on the room and talk loudly as they made it difficult to hear at times but this was obviously no fault of the artist or organisers. I really hope that sessions like these are offered in other school holidays as my daughter would love to go back and do more!

    • Wow, after my great experience at one of the events my daughter was really excited and was nit at all disappointed. Her created masterpiece was lovely and so personal. She had a great time creating at the event and loved telling me how she created the painting. She is very proud and anyone who comes to our home is instantly taken to see the gallery.

The teacher was lovely, explained everything, encouraged & inspired us all to 'Trust the process' when we wobbled or thought we couldn't do it. I have my 4th painting for the hallway stairs & there is plenty of room for lots more! The only trouble is I don't know which one to pick next! Looking forward to seeing you again very soon, ladies! šŸ˜€ If you haven't booked onto one of these events, all I can say is "Why not!? Get booking you will NOT regret it!"     • I would highly recommend this - I went with a group of friends and painted ā€˜the eyeā€™. We all had such a brilliant time, the painter and the assistant were so lovely and helpful and it was in such a great location with all the staff really happy to help. Our group had a range of people that had painted before and those that didnā€™t have a clue and we all came out with some great artwork. Everyone enjoyed themselves and we all said we want to do it again - highly recommended.

I have attended on my own to my 1st & 3rd event & have been made to feel welcome. I forgot I was there alone I had so much fun. I haven't done art since school & definitely not at GCSE level. So I thought I would be rubbish. I can see my talent getting better with each painting & what surprised me was my first one wasn't rubbish because they guided you throughout every stage of the process. The location and food was just perfect šŸ˜ and our group became an art family very quickly. The organisation from Jessa and her team Rhian and Jess was second to none !!     • This was my second time at Paintchill. The tutor was great, and I love the way the steps are made easy enough that a non- painter can produce a really good picture at the end of the evening. Would have been 5 stars but I found the music and general sound level of the room was too high this time which was a bit distracting. Overall it was a great night and Iā€™m already looking at what I want to paint next!

    • I consider myself a ā€œsenior guestā€ due several participation, for first time I give you less than five stars due the material suppled. Canā€™t make the jelly fish in so small canvas, the brush are too big to make some details like reference. I donā€™t mind pay few pounds more for right canvas, please add canvas size on the next advisement . Teacher was good, we had fun but feel frustrating that in last year change canvas size in all class, yesterday was worseā€¦

    • We had such a great time last night. The vibes were so great, everything was set up beautifully and we had everything we needed. The instructor was very knowledgeable and have us plenty of time to work, and gave lots of advice on how to do it. It was much easier than it looks to produce something you're really proud of. We all came out having enjoyed the session and it was such a nice way to spend time together. The only reason for 4 stars was that it would be nice if a drink were included in the price (but it does not affect how well organised and fun the event was!) Thankyou for a wonderful evening.

We were a bit worried about being somewhere public (outside in) where other people could watch us but that quickly changed as we were all so invested and enraptured by the fun of it all we didn't think twice about other people. Kirstie was a fantastic host. Funny, charming, helpful and not too fast paced, just great all round. We all created something we were super proud of in the end and to our surprise and had loads of fun throughout the whole process! Thanks to Kirstie. We will definitely be attending another session!

    • It was my 3rd Paint&Chill event and what I have missed this time vs previous session was following: - actual step-by-step approach as it was more of freestyle and for some people who never had brush in their hand they would really appreciate to be guided more rather then left alone - phase was way too fast :) we would need another 1 hr to make it right time for beginners - more attention from facilitator/teacher to individuals , coming by and showing technics ect

I have no art skills but love a bit of colour so thought Iā€™d have a go - I assumed it would come out horrible, but in the end I was honestly pleased with the result and didnā€™t need to ask for help to fix it. Everything is organised when you arrive and topped up as needed along the way, so itā€™s really easy and all you need to do is watch and copy - or adapt if you prefer, because itā€™s your painting!

She gave no instruction in the technique of using the brushes or paints and failed to inject a sense of fun to the evening. I was looking forward to doing more events but given my disappointment I wonā€™t be making any more bookings with Paint n Sip

I bought my friend and daughter along with me and we all agreed it was a fabulous experience. The tuition was spot on. Everything you needed was supplied. Canvas, paints apron and brushes. The painting emerged over two hours with an end result we were all proud of and could hang on a wall.     • My partner and I had alot of fun on the evening. My only criticism is that the lady leading the paint n sip evenings tiger looked nothing like the original one in the advertisment. I appreciate that the original was painted by a different person but I expected the leaders to look pretty similar. Concequently the groups paintings looked less like the original and more like hers which had a less realistic feel to it. Otherwise an enjoyable evening.

I spent a wonderful couple of hours just sitting with a large glass of red in one hand, paint brush in the other and following the very clear, step-by-step instructions. The atmosphere was fabulous, with really supportive and encouraging people running it. If you've never been before because you're worried your painting will look like it was done by a foot, then come along. It's not about the product, it's the journey, the company (I had such a laugh) and of course the wine. Best of all you leave with your own artwork!
