A really nice evening with a small, friendly group. We learnt a variety of techniques then worked on a final piece, still life painting. I'm a complete beginner with watercolours and Lizzie put us at ease and made learning simple and fun, encouraging our creativity! Definitely recommend to anyone wanting to try out watercolour.

A really enjoyable beginners class! Lizzy gave a comprehensive overview of the basics needed to get started working with watercolours and gave lots of opportunities to practise various techniques before working on a final piece. She was really friendly and patient. I would highly recommend!

This class was the perfect way to spend an afternoon in London with my mum to celebrate her birthday! We've both taken a couple of craft workshops before but never with paint so I thought this'd be another crafty avenue to try out! Lizzy started the class by talking about colour theory and basis brushstroke techniques, and the venue was decked out with Lizzy's sketchbook pages and plants, so you're surrounded by inspiration. She's also really friendly and the 2.5 hours flew by. My mum really enjoyed herself (as well as me) and she's done some more watercolour exercises since - I foresee a lot of hand painted birthday cards in the future!

This was a fun introduction to watercolours, we learnt basic watercolour techniques and ways to be creative with colours and different brush techniques. I've still got a lot of practising to do but Liz made it very accessible. Since the course, I've purchased a colour wheel which has proved very handy when it comes to choosing complementary colours. Thanks Liz!

Class was great! Venue was adorable and Lizzy provided a lot of techniques on how to paint watercolour and we were also given the watercolour palette and extra sheets of paper so I will definitely be painting in the future! Overall, a very lovely experience to relax after hectic day at work.

I loved the introduction to watercolour class! I had booked it quite spontaneously, and ended up having a 1:1 session which was a fab bonus! We went through practicing different techniques and styles, before having a go at painting a still life, and just experimenting on the paper! The studio was fabulous, a quirky bunker type room which really set the scene for a new adventure! All completed with a take home folder and beautiful watercolours to keep for our own practice.Would highly recommend :)

I must say the watercolor painting class was one of the highlights of my trip. The studio was a little difficult to find as I couldn't find street signs. Muzzy had everything ready when I arrived. She taught us first then we practised brush strokes, then painted a still life. She encouraged and suggested as we painted. The time passed too quickly. Lizzy is an amazing artist. The studio is at Angel Station which has great architecture, a canal, interesting little shops, and the day I was there market stalls. As I said one of the best days of my holiday. Thank you Lizzy and the people at Obby.
