FAQ's
What is string art?
String art is a craft, a bit like embroidery, but on card. The designs can be anything from geometric shapes to love hearts to ballet shoes! String Art has traditionally been done using wood, nails and string, however, the method used in the kits offers more flexibility in terms of what you can do with the finished product.
How long will it take to make a card?
As a beginner, it can take between 90 minutes and four hours. There's no rush, though. You can put it down and pick it up again at your leisure
Can children do string art?
Yes, definitely! Children love string art and there are numerous benefits to engaging in this craft. It improves hand-eye co-ordination and fine motor skills and encourages concentration and patience. Most importantly, children's confidence is enhanced when they see what they have created. Please note that needles are included in the kit, so care will have to be taken, and you may wish to supervise your child.
Is previous experience required?

Will I have enough thread?
Yes. Each kit contains 8 bobbins The 'It's Complicated' design requires the most thread, so you may wish to use the colours that are duplicated.
I'm not sure how to use a needle threader.
That's okay. If you need a bit of help threading your needle, instructions on how to use a needle threader are included in the YouTube tutorials.
