Taught by talented musician Alex Lofoco, it's suitable for adults only. Alex Lofoco was born and raised in Rome, moving to the UK to study bass guitar playing at the University of West London (where he graduated in Popular Music Performance.) He now teaches his bass workshop and classes to students around the world and released his progressive fusion debut album in 2017. His intermediate bass guitar class will further deepen your appreciation for a truly versatile and flexible instrument. Topics like mechanics, techniques, practice routines, styles and arrangements will be taught on a more complex level. You'l also have the opportunity to experiment and improvise alongside Alex, cultivating your own unique style and sound. A confident and skilled musician, Alex is also an imaginative and creative teacher who inspires confidence and enthusiasm in his students. About your host, Alex Lofoco
Born and raised in Rome Alex moved to London where he graduated in Popular Music Performance – BMus (Hons), at the University of West London. He released his progressive fusion debut album "Beyond" in December 2017, featuring guest artists Marco Minnemann on drums (Aristocrats), keyboard Wizard Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater), Eric Marienthal (Chick Corea Elektric Band), Jesus Molina and Tomasz Bura on piano and guitarist, composer and co-producer Roby Meola.
Alex holds masterclasses worldwide, invited by music colleges including the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, BIMM and the ICMP in London. Alex did his very first masterclass at the Tech Music School in London while he was still a student there.
Alex has featured on Bass Guitar Magazine, German Bass Quarterly and Chitarre magazines, and he also contributes with lessons and articles to Bass Musician Magazine and MusicOff.com.
