Have you ever been intrigued by a beautiful wood carving and wondered what it would be like to make one yourself? Now's your chance to learn all about the specialist tools and techniques involved in woodcarving, from how to sharpen the various chisels and knives to identifying the different woods available, as well as planning and undertaking sculptural or ornamental carving. We will also take a look at surface finishes and power tools.
At the end of the course, everyone will have a least one finished carving to take home with them.
