The upholstery course was very instructive, I learnt a lot and both the instructor and the host were very friendly and helpful. We were also given a very good vegetarian lunch as well as cakes and hot drinks throughout the day. A thoroughly enjoyable day.

Sheila is a born teacher! She is patient and explains things carefully, shows you whilst letting you do it yourself so that you gain the satisfaction from completing a beautifully upholstered piece of furniture. Sheila teaches the traditional method of upholstery which gives you a greater appreciation for the art. Throughout the day there are delicious cakes, coffees and teas to sustain you. A wonderful lunch made by Magda from local organic produce is served in the workroom, giving everyone a chance to share stories and tips on their latest projects.
