Students will be provided with the Ginger Jeans pattern, but will need to bring or buy their own material supplies (available for sale from the Village Haberdashery). Supplies required are as follows:
Jeans have been tied to several sub-culture groups throughout history. Starting out as staples for miners and cowboys, they then became a fashion favourite of the '50s greasers, '60's hippies, and '80s punks and metalheads. Basically, the cool kids have been wearing jeans for over a century, making them the ideal garment to learn how to sew!
