What happens in this class?

Over 3 Saturday sessions (a total of 16.5 hours plus 1 hour lunch break per session) this 19th Century Corset Workshop will teach the cutting, construction and fitting of a 19th century corset. Focussing on an original black and yellow flossed corset from 1890-1900, SE23 corset maker and fashion designer Katharine Harrison will guide you though the basics of pattern manipulation and alteration through to design details, construction and embellishment. You will take home your finished corset, toile and pattern for future corsets!
