Two lovely evenings spent using native grown rush, a wonderful material that is easy on the hands and has a beautiful hue of greens and yellows. You will learn how to make cordage and fashion this into a loop bag which you can use for your phone or wallet or hang in your kitchen to hold your garlic or lemons. There is long historical evidence of rush being used in basketry since Neolithic times. Today rush is popular with basket weavers who fashion this material into contemporary vessels. Things to remember

You can park on the street or if space available there are a couple of places in the driveway, which is located directly behind In Gear cycle shop. Come down the driveway into the courtyard and the workshop is on the left hand side. Tea and cake are served.
