Deborah Barker is a natural dyer, plant alchemist and textile historian. She has pioneered the Fibreshed movement in the South East of England and is passionate about natural dyeing, the provenance of fibre and working with what the land around us has to offer. She has been teaching since 2013 and has been mentored by world renowned natural dyer Jenny Dean, collaborating and helping her in workshops and co-curating exhibitions.
