What you will do
4 hour workshop
Learn how to design and screen-print fabrics for home, clothing and craft. Working from floral stencils provided, or your own ideas, you’ll create motifs to screenprint in a variety of colours. You’ll leave the workshop with 2 pieces of printed fabric and either a tote bag or tea towel with your final design.
During this workshop you will:
Understand how screenprinting works
Learn how to create floral motifs
Create a stencil of your own design- (drawing skills not needed!)
Prepare the screen and fabric for printing
Print 2 pieces of fabric in a variety of colours
Print a tote bag or tea towel
- Learn all the skills to be able to screen print at home
This afternoon workshop will teach you the basic principles designing motifs for textiles and screenprinting, using A5 size printing screens.

About your host, George Prints Design
Georgia is a print designer and lecturer working for the UK fashion and interiors industries. She trained in screen-printing for textiles and wallpaper, and now run classes and workshops across the UK.
All students under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
