Block Printing with Susan Quekett

Spend a wonderful day in Sussex in the workshop at One The Square, an old butchers with a beautiful courtyard. In the morning you will explore pattern and colour using old wooden Indian blocks. Susan will guide you to mixing colours and preparing the fabric for printing. She will also give you an outline of the history and how block printing has evolved over the centuries. After a delicious vegetarian lunch you will carve your own lino block and block print onto either linen napkins or a linen cushion.
