What happens in this class?

Do you want to find out what Millinery is really all about? Perhaps you would like to create your very own cocktail hat for Royal Ascot?

Maybe you've already taken some Millinery classes and want to brush up on skills, or you simply wish to update your own hat with a fabulous new trim?

The Beginner Millinery classes are designed to be flexible and with a maximum of just three students, you will receive plenty of individual tuition.

You will learn the various processes involved in making your own hat, using traditional Millinery practices.

Things to remember

Additional Information:

*Please note Hat Materials are NOT included in the cost, however I can advise you where to purchase what you will need for your sessions. You will have access to my blocks/threads/hat stiffeners.

*You must have a basic level of Hand Sewing for these classes.

I really enjoyed each of my classes with Joanne. Her designs are so beautiful, I would never have believed I would be making something so stylish incorporating my ideas by the end of the workshops. Joanne is so knowledgeable and explained each step so I understood why a particular approach is taken and the pros and cons of alternative methods. There is lots of hands on work to craft the hat and a lovely friendly relaxed atmosphere. Thank you Joanne!
