Make your very own leather Clutch or Phone Case from a choice of premium tanned leather. You'll get expert guidance and throughout your workshop by your teacher Leonie. There are a few design choices to pick from and the images are just an example of a few of the designs available to hand make during the workshop.

These are some of things you will be learning during your 2 hour course:

How to make a simple wallet pattern or shape .
Cutting your leather accessory from leather.
Marking out and chisel punching out your stitch holes.
Setting any hardware
Waxing…

Everything that is needed for the class will be provided.

Loveee the leather clutch that I was able to make with the support of Leonie. I was slightly late to the class but Leonie was lovely and welcoming, gave me tea and brought me up to speed with the other student. Her explanations were clear and the tools to hand supported the task well and I was really impressed with my outcome - especially as this was the first time i’d worked with leather :). One small thing that might be nice for larger classes is if Leonie had more than one mallet. Waiting for the other student to finish with the mallet meant that I didn’t have time to do the finishing touches on my clutch myself as time had run out. Leonie supported me to finish these herself, but this is just a thought as i would have enjoyed practising those skills. Alternatively, (not sure if this could work) I could have maybe worked on the attachment pieces while the other student used the mallet to save that time. Thanks for a great afternoon :)

I have attended a leather class previously . I needed to recap on a few basic skills -a refresher for me , so I found Leonie's class which was closer to home . Leonie was great , her explainations were clear and she was a good guide and very helpful . I enjoyed the class and I left feeling confident to go home and make myself a leather purse /clutch. Had such fun with Leonie making the clutch bag! The end product was beautiful despite us being complete beginners. Leonie was such a good and patient teacher and the session was very relaxed and super informative so I feel like I actually know the very basics of leatherwork. Definitely recommend this class!
