The session focuses on using simple knitted shapes and repeating forms to create three-dimensional pieces. Although the workshop uses the body and internal organs as a source of inspiration, attendees can make a small sample, brooch/badge or other small object, inspired by a subject of their choosing.
All levels of ability are welcome. The workshop is aimed at those wishing to explore the potential of knitting as an art form, or anyone with an interest in experimental textiles and soft sculpture.
