2 hour workshop
You cheeky embroiderer you! Get your bits out (in the private toilet cubicles) and let’s get stitching.
Hey humans with varied and beautiful genitalia. Wouldn’t you like to celebrate those varied and beautiful differences? Wouldn’t you love to celebrate those varied and beautiful differences through the art of embroidery? “YES PLEASE!” I hear you cry! Well…guess what?…you can!
It’s important to us that this class is about two things; 1. Learning a new hand skill 2. Being cool with what you got between those legs of yours, because what you got is great and you should celebrate it by immortalizing it with thread and yarn!
We’ll teach you how to prep your embroidery hoop for a new project, show you some essential stitches to make awesome effects (which stitches are better for pubes…that sort of thing) and how to neatly finish your work off so it looks as professional as you’ll be at the end of the evening.
We’ll equip each of you with a hand mirror upon arrival for you to pop off to the loos and check yourself out for some creative inspiration. What’s that you say? You’d rather go off memory? Good for you! You’d rather search online? Totally your decision dude. You want to create an abstract vulva or scrotum from printed pictures? We will have some on hand. We’ve got you covered people!
Did you know?
We ensure quality. If your class doesn't reach your expectations, we'll give your money back.
About your host, The London Loom
The London Loom is a weaving studio in Hackney in East London. Created by Francesca Kletz and Brooke Dennis after tiring of their work in education and fashion. The London Loom was founded to build a community of people who love making things with their hands and appreciate how good it is for you.
At The London Loom we want to encourage people to indulge in creating for pure satisfaction and fun. We hold community workshops and smaller classes in our studio where we welcome adults and children to work alongside each other; we believe that creativity and inspiration can come from anywhere, it’s not limited to age or background.
Ultimately we want to share the good that we feel from learning new skills and making beautiful, tactile things. We teach and host a range of ‘alternative craft’ classes as well as our beginners weaving classes, as long as there’s something to make, new people to meet and obnoxiously loud laughter to be had, we’re happy.
No need to bring along anything, we got ya sorted! Except a booze cup. Bring along one of those and a spare one for us...
