Spice up your lapel with a beaded brooch by making your very own using the traditional technique of beadweaving.

You will get a background knowledge in the art of bead weaving and the basic stitches. With a large range of designs to choose from you will select your design and be guided through the steps to create your own mini piece of beaded art.

During the three hour workshop you will learn:

How to design for beading
How to prepare a beadweave
How use peyote stitch
Securing and neat finishing

At the end of the session you will have completed…

Things to remember

You won't need to bring anything along with you, all threads, beads and needles will be provided.

I would definitely recommend this class if you are looking to learn a new skill or do something different with your weekend. I took my mum with me and would recommend bringing along a friend so you can chat away whilst weaving - otherwise there were lots of other lovely people who had gone along, to chat to. Miette was super friendly and helpful. Its so nice to come away from a class feeling inspired...and with a beautiful brooch :)
