A very full on day, we learned and practiced so many different machine embroidery techniques and Olivia was very skilled and an attentive teacher for us all. I love all my samples. Thank you. I would however have loved a coffee and biscuit to start the morning off after my journey.

The day whizzed by, I loved it! We were introduced to many new techniques and help was on hand whenever we needed it. I was introduced to new and different machines and I created some work I am pleased with. Thank you!

Highly recommend this class. The studio is a bright airy, contemporary space in Hackney. Olivia is a warm, patient and friendly tutor who greeted us with croissants, tea and biscuits, and taught us a number of different techniques. We were given ample time to practice and play with each technique and were individually attended to for any help/queries. At the end of the class Olivia gave us tips on where to make purchases. I thoroughly enjoyed the day. Thank you!

It was great to see what can be done with a regular sewing machine and with the irish machine! A lot of diverse techniques were shown but at the same time everyone was given time and freedom to work on one technique or project in their own pace. Would recommend :)
Zoe - 30 September 2018
Lots of different techniques taught. Great selection of threads. Solid good sewing machines. Really nice and helpful tutor. Lots of details given as to where to buy threads. Little things mean it did not score higher. There were 7 people booked on the workshop but they only set up for 5. One of the techniques didn’t work possibly due to the materials. Not a huge choice of fabric materials to choose from. Only one patterned fabric. Tea coffee or water were the only refreshments on offer. There was a terrible smell like stale urine which could have been due to a water leak that had covered a large part of the workshop floor

The class very very informative and the teacher was friendly. Amy taught us patiently and troubleshooted any difficulties we had. I managed to create 3 different little pieces and found this class very useful!

Brilliant. Ellie was a great tutor and she was happy to help me turn my ideas into a design. The class was small so there was loads of one on one time and the venue as lovely. I reccomended it to all my fashionable friends I think they'll love it! Thank you guys!
