What you will do
3 hour workshop
Let Emily guide you through the basic stitches of crochet and embark on your first project - a dishcloth!
It might not found exciting, but as a first project it utilises very simple crochet techniques and is the perfect way to practice. Plus, your dishcloth is useful - a sustainable alternative to j-cloths and a little bit of added colour for your kitchen.
For the first hour, we'll cover the basics of crochet, several key stitches firstly on large hooks with t-shirt yarn and then on smaller hooks with the cotton yarn you'll use for the dishcloths.
Then, once you've built your confidence with the basics, you'll be set free to start dishcloth! Experiment with colours and absorb into the mindful repetitive state that crochet is famous for.
You'll be given a 4mm crochet hook and 100g of cotton DK yarn to take away, with a yarn needle and a tote bag. This is a beginners workshop - though skilled crocheters are most welcome!
We ensure quality. If your class doesn't reach your expectations, we'll give your money back.
This is a Flexitime class, which means the teacher can run this class around your schedule.
