    About this class

Learn the basics of crochet whilst creating a bunting of beautiful hearts – what’s not to love?

A fabulous workshop for beginners and intermediates alike!

    • There are only 8 spaces available on this class and bookings are on a first come, first serve basis – so don’t risk missing out!

    Did you know?

Women used to hold their hooks to look more ladylike: In the 1800’s, women were taught to hold a crochet hook like they would a pencil in order to look daintier and more feminine. Today, most crocheters hold a hook in the palm of their hand to reduce hand fatigue.

    In this class

This class is great for beginners and will teach you all the basics from how to hold the hook and yarn to all the most common stitches. After that, the world is your oyster! You can take those hearts and do whatever you like with them. Some of our favourite ideas are turning the hearts into brooches or maybe sticking them onto a pretty home made card.

The beauty of it is you don’t even need to bring anything. We will provide you with:

    • a crochet hook
    • a pattern
    • enough yarn to create the most beautiful bunting your heart desires!

Just bring your fabulous self and we will handle the rest (and even bring some fellow Obby and crochet lovers to join in on the fun!).

    • If you are left-handed – no need to worry. We have worked with hundreds of left-handed students before and they have managed to master it, so will you!*

    Now you can

    • learn the basics of crochet such as how to hold the hook and yarn
    • learn the three commonly used crochet stitches
    • learn how to crochet some hearts and a bunting

Spaces are limited so book now to make sure you get yours!
