Hook A Monster is a unique Beginner's Crochet Workshop - instead of granny squares or doilies, let's make a monster!

What you will do is called Amigurumi (pronounced a-me-gu-roo-mi). It is a Japanese word for the art of making stuffed dolls and toys. Things to remember

All materials are included in the price. We have tea, coffee, juices and biscuits at Art4Space to keep you going. Art4Space is a gorgeous workshop space and community centre in Stockwell, London. The venue has wheelchair access. The nearest station is Stockwell tube.

I took my sister to this workshop as a Christmas gift and it was absolutely worth it! It was a great environment and the ladies were lovely, sharing great tips and helping us to create a finished amigurumi character. The best part about this workshop (aside from the wonderful people) is that I now feel confident to approach more ambitious projects as I have the key skills I need. Thank you for the great afternoon - highly recommended!
