Saturday Ceramics Workshop

Loved it! I was a complete beginner but was surprised at how much we could do - testament to the generous helping of guidance at hand! Thank you for a very enjoyable and creative afternoon!

Another cracking session with Martha. Really chilled out and you can make pretty much anything you fancy! Great cafes nearby and many wonky pots made. I also tried my hand at making a ‘rabbit’ - slightly more beaver than bunny. Totally recommend if you fancy something new or want to hone your ceramics skills.

Another brilliant ceramics session with Martha. Really relaxed and good fun! I made lots of beautiful wonky pots for Christmas presents. Martha’s on hand for top advice and instruction in different techniques. Totally recommend for a therapeutic, fun, friendly afternoon out. I’ll be back again next year for my next fix. Excellent afternoon making wonky pots for Christmas presents using different techniques. Relaxed atmosphere for ceramics novices. Great cafe next door too. Totally recommend and will be returning in the new year. Thanks Martha.

Spent a lovely meditative afternoon with a girlfriend of mine building coil vases together. Martha’s space is really relaxing and we enjoyed ourselves so much that four hours flew by! Nice cafe on site too so worth coming before your workshop for lunch on the veranda.....

The Saturday Workshop was great as it gave you time to properly get into making something a bit more complicated. It was a great way to spend a Saturday!

We really enjoyed our Saturday workshop with Martha. It doesn’t matter if you’re a complete beginner or more advanced, you are sure to enjoy this class! Martha is hugely talented and very knowledgeable - She gives you complete freedom to make whatever you wish, perfectly balanced with as much or as little guidance as you require. The classes are small in size, we were a group of five which meant we had lots of one to one guidance from Martha. Such a fun day, lots of interesting conversation and a delicious light lunch as well! If you’re in two minds about booking a class with Martha, I say go for it! It’s a chance to try something new! You’ll meet like minded people, switch off from the outside world and let your creativity flow - Seriously, what are you waiting for??!!! Go for it!!!

I really enjoyed this day course as Martha gave us all hints and tips throughout the day as we progressed with our mini projects. The fact that we all managed to underglaze / slip our creations by the end of the day made it really satisfying And the lunch was delicious :) I will definitely be back.
