What happens in this class?

During this course students learn how to mosaic a three-dimensional surface , for example a plant pot or saucer for a bird bath. You will use the direct method to place tiles straight onto a surface with cement.

We will supply plant pots and bird bath saucers for you to mosaic onto. (You may also wish to bring your own object to mosaic onto, but please email us beforehand with a picture so we can assess whether it is suitable for the cours.e.

It is advisable to let the cement set on the second day of the course and collect your piece on another day.
