A one day course during which you will be able to make your own unique shell mosaic using the ‘direct method’ setting shells onto board using tile adhesive. As well as learning this mosaic technique, you will have the opportunity to explore the infinitely varied qualities of shells and how best to combine them to create beautiful patterns and surfaces . Each student will work on individual projects and therefore the overall size and shape of your completed mosaic will vary according to the scale and intricacy of your design and choice of shells.
