2 hour workshop
During this workshop, Ameera will lead young students through the basic processes and techniques of hand building ceramics. Kids will be making and glazing all sorts of fun things - from underwater kingdoms to animal cereal bowls! The possibilities really are endless. The workshop is the perfect opportunity to introduce your children to a new artistic practice they may not have tried before. Creativity is such an important facet of children's development, as well as teaching them new skills and responsibilities!
After the workshop, Ameera will then fire the items which have been made, and return them to the shop for collection.
There’s also a magical bookshop downstairs from the workshop space, where kids can read after the lesson.
We ensure quality. If your class doesn't reach your expectations, we'll give your money back.
About your host, Dust and Dewdrops
Ameera is a potter, working in London. Her life is pretty much filled to the brim with plants, so she started making specially coloured pots for them - and this is how Dust and Dewdrops was born!
Dust and Dewdrops represents the clay and glaze that goes into making her candy coloured ceramics. Never making the exact same thing twice (a beauty that comes with handmade items) in her workshops she emphasises how importance this is. You can be sure that you will create something really special.
All students under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
