What you will do
Four session course
This course is 2.5 hours per week for 4 weeks. During each weekly session we will focus on developing and improving your throwing techniques. Hand building techniques such coiling, pinching and slab building can also be explored.
Whether you are on the start of your journey or returning after a long break this will the skills needed to prepare you for one of our workshop sessions, which will then improve your studio knowledge and skills.
You will have a selection of stoneware glazes to chose from.
Fees : there is a charge of £1 per 1 lb of clay used, pieces will be weighed at the leather hard stage.

About your host, Ronaldo W - Create Space London
Ronaldo Wiltshire ( Motions Of Clay) is a London based ceramic artist, born to two Barbadian potters. He is a ceramics Lecturer at Kensington and Chelsea college and Hampsted School Of Art.
He specialises in created functional and decorative ceramic art, often glazed in his own recipes which are inspired by colours from the Caribbean island Barbados. By his early teens he had learnt various hand-building techniques, slip casting, glaze preparation as well as throwing on the potter’s wheel and was very involved in production at his parents' studio.
bringing years of experience and craftsmanship to every object made. Tran's work focused primarily on exploring the physical properties of clay and material experimentation is a strong characteristics of his work.
Notes
No need to worry ! Clay can be washed out of your clothes, but for your own peace of mind wear something which you don't mind getting messy in. Aprons will also be available.
