I had a wonderful time joining Kiera’s art class. I’m not from Fulham (from Plymouth *) but made it for an one off class. I learnt new art techniques for watercolours using salt, clingfilm, blending colours and pastels whilst creating my own abstract pieces. I made some new friends and the atmosphere is very friendly. Kiera is a great teacher helping individuals hone in their own ideas and get creative . She also showed some new techniques that I didn’t know and I felt very welcomed. I would happily go again!

I was given a drop-in class as a birthday present by my 7 year old who does a weekly class at
Art-k Fulham because she wanted me to experience what she does on a weekly basis. I hadn’t done any painting since school so was a little nervous but Kiera couldn’t have been lovelier and put me at my ease straight away. Everybody was working on their own projects and she would advise/suggest/guide each in turn. It was peaceful and a great opportunity to switch off and concentrate on something unfamiliar and new. I can highly recommend.

I was impressed at how conscientious Kiera was to the point of emailing me ahead of class to find out my preferences. The session was well guided, and I felt comfortable and enjoyed my time fully.

A warm, friendly environment for art! I haven't painted for a while so I felt a little apprehensive but Marcela made me feel at ease and guided me through each step. I'm starting to get a little more experimental!

Marcela’s art class is my favorite part of the week! She has such a soft and lovely way of helping everyone with their work and there is no pressure to finish a project, it’s all at your own pace. I’d highly recommend joining; you won’t regret it!

art-K Fulham reignited my love for art! I've struggled with my confidence with drawing and painting for a number of years and the art teacher really helped me overcome my doubts! They were really encouraging and helpful from start to finish of the project. I can't wait to buy a new frame for my canvas and hang it up in my living room. Looking forward to coming back to try a new medium.

What a lovely space! Very bright and airy and the teacher is really inspiring. We talked a lot about my previous experience before picking an artist to work from. I was worried it would only be for beginners (I've done art before) but they have such a variety of projects that it's suitable for everyone. I picked a sculptural project because I haven't done clay in years. It's so relaxing the 90 minutes pass so quickly.
