What happens in this class?

In this calm and relaxed class, Marie will guide you through a step by step process to create a colour wheel from just three primary colours. You will understand how colours can be mixed to create other colours, and the infinite possibilities that can emerge from this process. An informative friendly, knowledgeable tutor. We learnt about pencil drawing and painting in colour with acrylic paints. We were in Clapham library and it was a relaxing and peaceful environment and atmosphere to learn about different styles of drawing and painting.

It was a real treat exploring colour with Marie and other people in the class. She created a no pressure environment in which I managed to create a very nice finally piece of work which I didn’t know I was able to archive. She’s very friendly and helpful and would love to work with her again.

This course was recommended to me by a friend. I wasn’t sure I would be good enough, arty enough. Marie made me feel at ease immediately. I just got into it, painting a colour wheel (that’s harder than you think!), drawing with colours I wouldn’t have chosen usually. I made a hash of it, but I learnt a lot and really enjoyed myself. Great vibe. Thanks Marie!
