What happens in this class?

Pop Art is one of the most “popular” art movements of the Modern Era and was greatly inspired by comic books, social behaviors and mass media.

In this workshop we will be experimenting with these popular themes along with some bold, contrasting colours and strong brush strokes to help create a pop art inspired work of art!

We have lots of reference pictures to chose from in the studio but you are also welcome to bring along one of your favorites If you have!

What a super class this was! I loved creating my pop art picture! All the materials were given to me and Megan was a great help with mixing colours that I wanted to create. I learnt new ways to paint and just had a fun time playing with colour. Thank you!
