What happens in this class?

This is a fun and informative workshop. Beginning with an intro to pigments, students will gain an understanding of their qualities and values. You will be shown how to handle pigments safely, then you can spend the rest of the session playing with pigments.

This class is open to everyone, no previous art experience is needed, just perhaps a love of colour or interest in doing something unique like handling pigments.

Things to remember

I enjoyed this course! Nadine was extremely patient and the process of making watercolour paint was fun! It was a very relaxing session and I'm looking forward to using my own watercolour set to paint.

Nadine was really knowledgeable, able to answer my many questions, and helped me to understand how to work with the materials. She is very skilled and has many interesting stories about the pigments you are working g with. I recommend this class very highly for any level of interest. It’s is also excellent value for money.

I did this course with a few friends and we all really enjoyed it. I made a whole set of great quality water colours and was able to choose the colours I made. I have been using them since and they are really cool. Especially the graphite one. Nadine is really knowledgable and makes the whole experience really fun! Cannot recommend the class enough.
