3 hour workshop
This is a fun and informative workshop. Beginning with an intro to pigments, students will gain an understanding of their qualities and values. You will be shown how to handle pigments safely, then you can spend the rest of the session playing with pigments.
This class is open to everyone, no previous art experience is needed, just perhaps a love of colour or interest in doing something unique like handling pigments.
Each student will leave with a watercolour tin contain containing 6 full and 2 half artist quality pans they have hand crafted. The watercolours you will make are of the highest quality, no filler is added just pure pigment.
This session will give you the skills to make all of your watercolour paint in the future, saving yourself a fortune on future watercolour projects!
Making paint is a very straightforward and non toxic process so this class is suitable for beginners. For those with experience, there will be a selection of tricker pigments if you want the challenge! Most colours will be available, but if you want a specific colour then get in touch with Obby.
Class sizes will be small so you will get dedicated attention. I also run this as a one on one session.
This set works well as a gift, You can personalise it with your loved ones favourite colours.

You are welcome to take the pans home that day but it is best to leave them to dry fully so I would recommend collecting them the following week. Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided and there are plenty of local coffee shops to pick up any other foods on your way in.
