What happens in this class?

We provide weekly art classes to adults, personalising the programme to each individual student. In this one-off art session, you will choose from a variety painting or drawing projects and go home with a completed piece of art! You have the choice of creating a beautiful Ann Blockley watercolour painting, a John Waterhouse tonal stain painting or a gorgeous negative animal drawing (inverting the natural by drawing with white on black paper). Things to remember

All materials are provided, please make sure you wear clothes you do not mind getting paint on potentially. There is no direct parking outside of the studio however parking is available on the surrounding roads; Green Lane, Somerset close and Brampton Gardens.

The teacher offered lots of guidance and was very encouraging, which made me feel really comfortable seeing as I'm only a beginner. I created a tonal drawing of an animal using chalk on black paper which before the session I wouldn't have dreamed of being able to do! The space is lovely and the atmosphere is so calm. I would definitely recommend, and I am looking forward to returning for another session!

Very friendly teacher, I learnt how to use different grades of pencils to tone a face, I wasnt very good but the teacher gave me great advice on how I could improve. Looking forward to my next session.
