Miles, the tutor will guide you through drawing from imagination and help place the context and complexity of your ideas on paper.
You will be asked to bring a small sized artwork or something meaningful to the class (documentation of an artwork if video or performance based is also suitable).
The exercises will aim to challenge your visual perceptions of encountering space and colour.
Drawing and Painting materials are provided.
After the class, you will receive a document listing the key areas recommended to develop your practice, contextual referencing of artists discussed, information about new skills and links to other relevant organisations.
Miles completed his Masters in Fine Art in 2015 and currently leads a Life Drawing and Sexual Health project. His work is interdisciplinary and often collaborative, and he is ambitious to teach individuals who wish to challenge themselves.
