We had so much fun in a relaxed environment. The technique was explained simply and clearly and we were left to be creative within the parameters. So pleased with our mirrors which were all so different in style. Highly recommended!

Great workshop, so many choices of medium to use, this time started with plain mirror. Powertex and with individual encouragement from Rachel, transformed the mirror ..... Thank you so much. Definitely would recommend this workshop and look forward to using something different.
Carol - 3 December 2021
Started with plain picture frame, but with the use of powertex and the brilliant guidance of Rachel, produced a uniquely ornate frame. Definitely will book again. Thank you so much.

Had a great time, loved the medium powertex and with expertise of Rachel produced a lovely piece of artwork. Thank you

My daughter and I joined Rachel this morning for a lovely time. We enjoyed moulding clay shapes, sorting through so many bits and bobs, trimmings and materials to create our own unique pieces. We learnt how to use the powetex- Rachel says it's addictive- I can see why! It was amazing to see how a grey mess, once dried and a few marks of colour added was transformed into a beautiful piece of artwork.
Amanda - 5 January 2020
Rachel made us very welcome. We learned the basics of powertex and were able to produce really lovely items

I treated my daughter to the powertex taster workshop and so pleased I did. We haven’t got messy like that together since she was about 10!! She is now 30...It was great fun learning about this art medium and we both came away really pleased with the frames we had created. We will definitely be back to do more.......thank you Rachael

Absolutely loved the Powertex class. The taster class is so informative if you wanting to find out more about Powertex. Rachel is so friendly & such a good teacher. Loved every minute Can’t wait to do more classes 😊

I was a complete beginner, I knew nothing about Powertex except that I wanted to use it in mixed media work. The teacher was knowledgeable, informative and very helpful and friendly. The venue was ideal for crafting - a large table in the centre of a clean, bright orderly room. There were lots of examples of previous work on the walls and other crafts too for inspiration. There were plenty of resources to choose from and the tutor guided everyone through the process. In the time we had. I learned a lot and put some of it into practice very quickly.

Powertex. Learned about products. This is ideal for complete beginners in this field, as I was. Teacher demonstrated and explained a lot, answered questions. Ideal venue for a variety of crafts - bright and sunny, big table in the centre, lots of material to choose from and many art and craft items on the walls and around the room. Rachel was lovely - friendly, knowledgeable, helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Great value for money. I might well go again, even although it’s on the other side of London. This was an afternoon well spent. Thank you Rachel!

The Powertex Taster Workshop is the third craft class I have attended with Craft my Day (Mosaic workshop and Making a Cushion Cover being the others) and another five star success. Powertex is a fabric hardener and is used to create effects to decorate surfaces (in this first instance a bland picture frame) that with embellishments, painting and glazing techniques turn them into veritable works of art. Everything provided, including superb (and friendly) tuition and all materials. A very happy couple of hours spent doing this. Can't wait for the Autumn so that I can book some more.
Irene - 27 July 2018
Made a powertex decorated picture frame using different textures and embellishments. Dry brushing colour to bring out the textures. Rachel was fantastic, warm, welcoming and friendly. The venue had lots of natural daylight.
