Fantastic class. Receiving the materials was like receiving a gift. Really enjoyable!

Another interesting class. It was good to use unusual images and Gabriela is a clear and thoughtful tutor. It was frustrating being unable to see what other students had achieved. I always find the 'show and tell' on courses one of the best bits, and we need it with all this isolation, shielding and social distancing. More please!

Fantastic workshop in spite of the limitations of being online. The outcome of the workshop was fantastic and it is always a pleasure to get inspiration from Gabriela and I feel really grateful for all her advice. Already thinking of the next one!

Gabriela is an artist and maker. She creates prints and collages, greeting cards, jewellery and scarves with images inspired by memory, nostalgia and a love of everything vintage.

Her work is often humorous and whimsical – unless her romantic side takes over and then you enter into a fairy-tale territory of old-fashioned script, pages of books and music scores populated by chivalrous gentlemen, glamorous ladies, butterflies and rabbits. She blends a fusion of painting and digital media – acrylic, watercolour and ink with digital print – onto paper and canvas to create pictures, quirky greetings cards and a range of “art…

Really did this class as something to take my mind off covid and get some potentially interesting papers to use in future, and a few tips and ideas. Knew I liked the teacher as had done some decoupage with her. However found that I enjoyed more than expected given I'm not used to this kind of more freehand craft. Actually ended up with something I would put up on my wall!
