Mould making today is used to cast pieces for among others the fine artist, sculptor, designer and ceramic artist. You can even create moulds for glass fashion. This particular course looks at the making of plaster moulds for slip-casting, including the creation of single-part or multi-part moulds for the ceramic artist. And yes we can explore the special mould making considerations for those work with glass.

Some experience of clay and kiln firing is desirable for this course but is not essential.
