This workshop is an accessible, creative and relaxing introduction to the basic skills of drawing. Your teacher, Rhiannon, will do a series of exercises, each will focus on a different skill, providing a wide range of techniques to raise confidence and enhance visual awareness. Through various drawing approaches working with pencils, charcoal, and coloured pastels, you will learn to explore and understand line, tone, measurement, texture and composition. Participants are encouraged to express themselves freely with guidance from the tutor.
There will be walking involved in this workshop. The class will meet at The Shard, and walk along the South Bank, ending up at the Tate Modern drawing at various locations along the way.
