I’ve attended 2 classes the atmosphere is friendly and supportive IIsa explains the techniques well and it’s delivered at a level that everyone can understand

Ilsa is a wonderful teacher. She is very highly skilled in drawing and painting and extremely knowledgeable about her craft. She is relaxed, yet very focused and you feel her wealth of knowledge is understandable at what ever level you are. Couldn’t recommend enough!

I have struggled with drawing forever and went to my first class last week and felt was so useful! I am going into 4th year of my fashion degree and from one class I went to I have found myself already implementing the simple techniques Ilsa showed us. I will be coming back for more classes :)

Lisa was nice, kind an approachable. She made us all feel welcome. The workshop place is just about right. She gives people time and involves everyone and individualise input in a non-threatening manner.
I have learnt to appreciate things and to look at the things as parts and as a whole to create a drawing!

It was a very relaxed atmosphere. We learnt about perspective and even the most inexperienced of us (me) managed to come up with a respectable drawing of a pile of books with the guidance of the teacher. Ilsa gave everyone individual guidance helped to build confidence.

And proportion and the different stages of drawing a 3D structure.

My daughter absolutely loved this class. Ilsa was giving very constructive feedback throughout and made my daughter progress in her art skills in only one session. I would highly recommend these lessons to anyone.

I attended a taster session at Ilsa’s home on 5th May, we studied drawing techniques and drew leaves and flowers of a plant bought for the session. Ilsa was very patient and explained the basics of drawing simply and effectively, she gave everyone individual attention and positive feedback. The session was not overcrowded and refreshments were provided. I learnt a lot about shading and perspective. I would definitely recommend Ilsa and hope to attend further sessions

I am a beginner, wasn't even sure I could draw. In just one lesson Ilsa has taught me fundamental techniques in a pleasant relaxed atmosphere and I made real progress. She has given me the confidence to do more. I realise I can draw, I enjoy it and will be signing up for more lessons.
