Each month the classes concentrate on a different theme or aspect of drawing. Each class stands alone but together they provide an all round exploration of the topic. You can book as few or as many classes as you can manage - each one will improve your understanding and your results. There are discounts for block booking: £25/class, three for £60, or five for £95. (If you make a block booking you will be contacted after payment by your host to arrange the specific dates you wish to choose.)
October: How to approach tones
This month our drawing classes are all about how to approach TONES - how to make smooth transitions from dark to light in all sorts of different drawing media, how to be expressive with tones, how to control them to create the effect of volume and light …. and much much more!
If you have ever felt unsure about how to manage large areas of tone, how to use different media effectively, how to work with light on dark paper, how to be more expressive, how to create volume and light - then these classes, suitable for absolute beginners as well as those with experience, will help you understand the task and find your way to use the different media with confidence and style.
And they are fun! And all materials are provided!
November: How to draw the head and facial features with confidence
