I am Vicky and my passion for cooking started more than 30 years ago when I used to watch my Grandmother preparing food for our family. I was not only watching but on some lucky occasions, I took part in the process. My tasks as Nonna’s assistant chef were messing around with flour and playing with the dough. I started learning like this, having fun and playing and this is how my cooking classes are. I now want to spread the passion for good and healthy food in London. I moved here 6 years ago and since then I have been feeding hundreds of people using the techniques learned from my grandmother. I have a background in tax law. I worked as a tax advisor during the week and cookery tutor during the weekend for almost three years, until pregnant when I decided to quit the office job for a more adventurous career. I decided to start my own cookery school. I tested the recipes on friends first and then started advertising the class: online, through directories and social media; on the street, with flyers and through word of mouth. The classes grew to the point where I was running them every weekend. “I enjoy it so much and it fits so well around my family. I am finally doing the job of my dreams” says Vicky. My mission is to educate people on how much fun it can be to cook together with family and friends. But the benefits don’t stop there...It also makes everyone eat healthier food! The recipes I cook are simple but extremely tasty, made only with the best ingredients. I take great care of the environment using only organic products and carefully picking my suppliers. I have a zero-waste policy in place and the use of plastic is reduced where possible. I strongly believe that everyone should have access to good and healthy food and for this reason, I am an active volunteer in the local community. I collaborate with the Camden Health Kick, a project that aims to offer free healthy activities to increase the health of the community members.

Pasta making was good fun and Vicky was a friendly and experienced teacher. It takes place in Vicky’s home - in the large kitchen/living room area - so it’s a nice informal environment. The class was more like 1.5 hours, not 2.5, but there was 7 of us so that might be because it was a smaller class. Thanks for a good class

Non to make lasagna. The trachea was very informative and friendly and she explains very well. The vanue was super nice.

We learned how to make pasta from scratch with my four year old. It was so much fun - yes, very friendly and informative for both of us. We learned how to make spaghetti; bow shaped pasta; gnocchi; and linguine (I think right terminology!) It was a really enjoyable couple of hours, and at the end of session, we sat round a table with the other group on the course and ate our creations with the most delicious sauce. And Vittoria can also share her trade secrets on this! Venue was delightful - sat outside on the decking at the back of the venue and had that sensation of being on holiday. Thank you!

We booked One-to-One pasta for a friends birthday and we had the most lovely evening with Vittoria learning how to make pasta from scratch! We chose to make spaghetti with Cacio e Pepe. Vittoria is extremely warm and friendly, it was the most relaxing evening in the comfort of my friends flat with wine and delicious homemade focaccia. Would definitely recommend for any pasta lovers out there. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Vicky was incredible. She welcomed us into her home, was incredibly patient and gave us the skills and confidence to make pasta again. I could not recommend this class highly enough. A great weekend activity.

We loved our pasta party. My daughter was turning ten and invited five friends over to our house. Vittoria and her cousin were friendly and sweet and clearly love what they do. The children made pasta right from scratch, kneaded it, rolled it and cooked it for lunch. They had a brilliant time. Vittoria talked to them about how pasta originated and developed. They played cool Italian music and there was a great atmosphere. And they cleaned up afterwards! Highly recommended.

I learned how my daughter can be a great listener and focusing on baking make me so happy too. Vicky is absolutely fantastic, professional, friendly and with the perfect time schedule, so kids can follow her without getting tired. The venue was very well organized and family-friendly. We loved it! And my daughter is looking forward to doing again her cookies. 👍🏼👍🏽👍🏾🍪🍯

We hired Vittoria form Pasta ‘n‘ play for my daughters 8th birthday party and it was such a huge success! The kids were so happy, so engaged in the process and they had such a great time leading something new . All the parents were so impressed as well. Vittoria was so lovely, thoughtful and helpful in every way through the process. Right from finding a venue that was right for me, to the decorations and set up, she was fantastic. The attention to detail was fabulous. Please hire her for your next party. Trust me, You will now regret it!!!

We loved our class with Pasta’n Play! We learned a lot about pasta making, using a pasta machine, and particularly how to properly fill and shape tortellini. It was a lot of fun and Vittoria was lovely. Would definitely go back.

We did a team pasta making workshop with Vicky in Covent Garden. It was amazing! Myself and my team really loved it. Vicky was a great teacher and very accomodating. Everybody loved their Raviolis, we would defo recommend the class.

A wonderful afternoon making pasta, Vicky was fantastic and so accommodating. We learned a lot, I’m very tempted to try her kids class to make blue pasta! Such a brilliant experience, Vicky is super knowledgable and made us feel at home. We’ve definitely learned a skill for life, I foresee lots of fresh pasta dinners in our future!

Looking for alternate activities for my nephew and niece of 6 and 8 years old, I took them to Vicky's pasta making class. It turned out to be a great experience. The kids are taught how to mix and knead the dough, and eventually turn them into pasta. Their eyes simply lit up when Vicky demonstrated the magic of rolling the pasta dough into the machine, and out came the perfectly shaped spaghetti and tagliolini! There is certainly a high level of enthusiasm and enjoyment in the room. Towards the end of the class all the kids sit down together to enjoy their hand made pasta. It is a great way to entertain the kids and teach them about food (I noticed Vicky uses high quality and organic ingredients too). The kids are asking to return for another class already!

It was great learning how to make pasta from scratch, the Italian way. The teacher was great and even showed the children what wheat looked like before it was ground into flour. The venue was great with cool drinking water and clean washroom facilities .

I took the workshop with my children. It was brilliant! We learnt to make pasta from scratch something I never did before! Vicky is a great teacher very friendly and welcoming. She’s great with children, she’s helped us especially as I had more then one child with me. We also made two sauces that were delicious. All the ingredients fresh. She took into account our dietary needs and made it vegan. My children and I loved the class and highly recommend it. It’s such a great family friendly class. I will definitely attend another workshop soon.

Our daughter Olivia loves pasta, but making it herself was even better!! And it tasted so good! Vittoria is great with kids: fun loving, enthusiastic and patient! I can highly recommend her classes (the only downside: you then don't want to eat store bought pasta anymore, as Vittoria's home made pasta tastes too good)

My 4 year old and 7 year old had a wonderful morning learning how to make colourful pasta with Vicky. Vicky was incredibly engaging and skilfully taught the children to make their own pasta from start to finish. They loved getting stuck in and particularly enjoyed rolling out the pasta. We all got to taste it at the end of the workshop and it was delicious!

My 8 year old and her friends had a wonderful time making rainbow pasta and eating it! My daughter has severe food allergies and Victoria catered for her beautifully and safely which was so special for us all as we did not think that a birthday party themed around a food workshop would actually be an option for us. My high energy 3 year old enjoyed the event too and manage to keep his concentration on all the various steps! fantastic

My two daughters (9 and 6) had a fantastic time at the Kids Pasta Making Workshop. Vicky was great with the kids, showing them all how to make their very own pasta dough and how to use the pasta machines. The girls learned how to make several different types of pasta (from spaghetti to tagliatelle and even farfalle) and they loved the different (natural) colours! And we all got to try the pasta with a delicious home-made sauce at the end! I thought it was good value for the two kids too. Highly recommended! Thanks!

Good Points: - Very well structured course - Clean and colourful environment - Instructor Vittoria is passionate and friendly - Juices and freshly baked bread was provided Bad Points: - The class size of 8 was a bit too big. It would have been perfect for 6 - Directions of to the place is not clear as you have to enter through a back entrance

tThe class was ideal size to receive individual help in a supportive and fun atmosphere. The enthusiasm of our teacher enhanced the experience and made for an even more enjoyable experience. I felt encouraged and supported and the class has rejuvenated an interest in produce and cooking and my confidence to build on pasta making in the future has definitely increased. The venue is a wonderful location and easy to access and great facilities for this particular experience. I look forward to doing more pasta making classes in the near future with this wonderful teacher and especially interested in including my child when he is a bit older. what a great, fun experience, I highly recommend!

Central location near Covent Garden, a lovely friendly class tutor and lots of enthusiasm - these all combined to make this a fab evening learning how to make tagliatelle on World Pasta Day! I really enjoyed this class & we enjoyed a meal with our freshly cooked pasta at the end. Definitely recommend :)

The kids absolutely loved the lesson! The teacher was lovely and the kids weren’t shy at all. I thought the children would love the colors and how they will appear on the bagels and i was impressed to know all the colors are from organic sources! They are looking forward to future classes !

Vicky is a fantastic teacher. She was very patient and explained everything in a clear and gentle manner. I really found entertaining all the fun facts she told us about pasta. She gave us many informative tips on ingredients and cooking in general. The pasta was so delicious that I am still thinking about it. I cannot wait to attend another class.

I found the classes to be very informative and clear. It was my first time making pasta so I needed a bit more explaining than others but Vittoria was super patient. You can feel her passion for pasta and Italian cooking, in general, is huge! Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Wonderful time learning how to make pasta and all the kids loved it! The teacher kept everyone informed throughout and made sure everyone was having fun, she was really great! Vittorias pasta making classes are the perfect way to learn a new skill in a fun, social setting. I can now make Tortillini, I bet you cannot. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to impress the family or simply enjoy an afternoon doing something creative.

We had a great time learning to make ravioli on a boat! We learnt to make the dough, roll it and form into filled pasta. Then we all ate the pasta with a glass of wine. Really fun and sociable class, and we still make pasta at home!

We were a group of four and met Vicky for the class on a boat near Paddington, needless to say the location was amazing and we learnt a lot thanks to Vicky's advice and expert knowledge of pasta making! we made coloured fettuccine with squid ink, beetroot and green matcha (for black, red and green pasta respectively) and then enjoyed the fruits of our efforts with the pasta cooked and served with a traditional tomato sauce and a chilled glass of wine! highly recommended and hope to attend more of the other classes Vicky organises!

Pasta making with Vicky was absolutely fantastic! You get the italian vibe right from the beginning. Beautiful italian music playing in the background while learning how to make orecchiette, tagliatelle, gnocchetti, maccheroni... Vicky is very pacient, knowledgeable and always helpful! By the end of the class we had our very own pasta for dinner with a delicious homemade tomato sauce that Vicky prepared for the class! It was so delicious! I strongly recommend her pasta workshops! So much fun and yum! Really looking forward to the next one!

I wanted to try this lesson since ages and I couldn’t do better choice. Vittoria is amazing, she’s friendly and she’s and amazing teacher. Preparing the real Italian pasta was super funny and useful. I’d certainly suggest to book a class with “Pasta&Play”!

The venue is Vicky's kitchen, very clean and bright. Making the pasta dough was fun and Vicky is super friendly and ready to answer any questions and offer plenty of tips. We got to taste our pasta and it was delicious. I would recommend this class to anyone interested in learning a new skill or it would make a wonderful gift.

Just loved this course with Vittoria. It was so much fun, learnt loads and was also , crazy tasty. I got this for my family as a Christmas present for them all. It was so lovely to learn and do something together. Would recommend to anybody!

Wow - what an evening. Vittoria came to our home as a birthday surprise for me. I've never made pasta before but I'm a keen cook. There were four of us - and she immediately became one of the family and brought so much to the celebration. Vittoria was not only a great teacher, managing the the different levels amongst us, but she brought so much fun and fit right in, making us all laugh whilst keeping on top of making a genuinely DELICIOUS meal for all of us. We all really wanted her to stay on for dinner she was such good company! I feel much more confident that I could make the pasta on my own now. Overall one of the best birthdays I've ever had.

A friend and I had a brilliant time with Vicky making meat tortellini in her fabulous kitchen. Vicky was patient and knowledgeable, was a lovely teacher and even included freshly made focaccia, houmous and olives and a sneaky glass or two of red wine as we toiled away. It was a great afternoon which we would thoroughly recommend to others.
