What is a dreamcatcher?
Dreamcatchers are traditionally part of the Native American culture. They are hand-woven nets or webs acting as symbols of protection and hope, thought to be lucky gifts for babies and children. They often included special materials that carried meaning such as feathers and beads. Today they are beautifully decorative objects and gifts for the home.
I have an allergy to feathers, is this kit for me?

Is this suitable for toddlers?
Please be aware that there are small beads in this kit. Whilst it is both adult and child-friendly, and toddlers can quickly become EXPERTS at free-weaving, I think it is best for 3+ years and adults should stay nearby.
Can I make this if I don’t know macrame, weaving or crochet?
Sure you can! There are step by step instructions included. This kit is based on a craft process that The Art Room has coined ‘Free-weaving’. This means that you are free to let your imagination and materials take charge. Create a pattern or fan shape, or a disordered web and let your mind wander as you go through the creative process – you’ll see the beauty in all of it! Alternatively, the instructions sheet sign-posts you to online videos that show how to weave a spider web in the centre of your dreamcatcher.
Is this for me if I am already a macrame/ weaving/ crochet expert?
Absolutely! You are free to create your own masterpiece
