Great beginners class for those curious about Fusing Glass. You will learn to safely handle sheet glass and learn how to build a design in fused glass.

This is an open class with lots of options of what you can create.  Including a set of 4 glass coasters or A lantern with fused glass panels or Set of Christmas decorations or freestyle and make abstract glass tiles.

 I have a range of colours and types of glass available including powders, and thin stringers that are all included. There is no prescribed design so you can let you creativity run free!

I have templates for you to follow If you get stuck in the day. If you have a specific project in mind let me know during booking and I will do my best to have the specific colours you need in stock.

During the workshop:
Learn to safely cut glass, then arrange and layer pieces to create a design.
Come with your own design in mind or use one of the teachers designs.

Please note the glass works will be fired in my kiln after the session so will take about a week before they ready to be posted.

The class is Covid Secure with tools and work surfaces sterilised, and handwash and sanitiser stations in the room.

Creative Fused Glass

Looking for creative way to try out Fused Glass? This glass workshop is a hands-on way to get into this colourful, tactile art form.

Hosted by an experienced artist in a creative hub adjacent to scenic Victoria Park, this class will see you working with brightly coloured glass to create a vibrant series of glass trinket dishes. These professional quality pieces will take pride of place in your home decor or make wonderful handmade gifts.

Don't worry if this is your first time and are nervous about working with glass, as your expert host will be there with you every step of the way to ensure your work turns out just as you envisioned it. There'll also be plenty of different patterns to choose from to help fire up your creativity!

Whether you're joining in on your own or bringing a few pals along for a creative catch-up, it's a brilliant way to reap the benefits of working with your hands, create something beautiful and pick up some nifty new skills while you're at it.

Please note: as your finished piece(s) will have to be fired in a kiln, they'll be posted to you around a week after the class is completed.

This class is great for individuals and couples as well as for a team building activity, Christmas party, birthday, hen do or stag do.

This is a fun indoor activity, suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 14 years old). An adult must accompany any attending kids. The adult may observe at the class for free.

This would also be a unique gift for her, gift for mum or Xmas gift.
