Drawing Basics course (8 weeks)
Starting on Thursday 28 September for eight weeks, 6.30pm to 9pm (2.5 hours). There will be a half term break on Thursday 26 October.
Learn the key concepts and skills of observational drawing. At the end of the course, you will have all the skills and knowledge to feel confident to approach any drawing.
We will start with learning basic skills and shapes: Observational construction of shapes, identifying light and shade – tonal work, learning composition theory and learn perspective and portrait skills.
Your tutor Rebecca Lyne has over 20 years of experience teaching drawing throughout the UK and internationally.
Materials will be provided but if you want to, you can bring your own to practise/experiment with or get advice on how to use.
All of our community evening classes continue to support and help the running of Rowan’s day-to-day activities for adults with learning disabilities.
