Samuel Evans started his musical journey at the age of five. He progressed to classical Grade 8 on piano, clarinet and saxophone by the age of 16 and later studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and Trinity College of Music (graduating with a Bmus (Hons) 1st class degree in Jazz, Saxophone and Piano. Over the years, Samuel has played in various large and small groups across different genres (classical, jazz, big band, pop, reggae, ska and hip-hop.) Today, he plays professionally and teaches privately. He finds his role as a Saxophone tutor immensely rewarding and enjoys passing on his skills and knowledge in order to see others progress and enjoy playing an instrument. An advanced level private saxophone lesson with Samuel is a fun, relaxed, sociable experience in a non-judgemental setting. He'll use his extensive experience as a live performer to help you perfect not only your technical abilities but how you present these to an audience. Samuel works with some students to prepare for musical exams (grades 1-8) but teaches others for pure pleasure; the choice is yours. Higher level students may also wish to prepare for important auditions or performances.
We ensure quality. If your class doesn't reach your expectations, we'll give your money back.
