The class will start with an overview of soap making history and the ingredients you'll be using for the day. You will then start blending your own bespoke soap scent, selecting from an assortment of essential oils. The aromatherapy blending technique you will use can also be used at home to make massage oils and bath blends safely.

Add your own personal touch to your soaps with natural colours, textures and decorations using ingredients like herbs and flower petals. You will also learn how to formulate a recipe, so you can experiment with confidence at home.

Victoria will give you a demonstration at each key step, including the natural cold process of soap making.

At the end of the class, you'll walk away with a block of luxury soap to enjoy at home. You'll also be armed with recipes, including for pure coconut oil laundry soap and  resources for further learning so you can keep experimenting and making natural soaps at home.

Make Soap

Victoria has been practicing and teaching natural therapies for over 25 years. While writing an aromatherapy column for a magazine in Bangkok, she started making natural skincare products. This led to having a stall at the local farmers market, then working with spas and resorts to create signature scents for their amenities. Victoria loves teaching workshops, and soap-making is her favourite. 

Classes are held on a boat in various locations on London's canals. All classes are small so you get plenty of attention and everything is supplied for you.

We offer both Cold Process Soap Making or Melt and Pour Soap Making.
Cold Process Soap Making - This is proper soap making and Involves using oils and a caustic soda solution to make soap with the traditional cold process method - but don´t worry, you will be in expert hands, You'll be guided by the talented soap and candle making expert and award-winning founder of Old Bexley Soap & Candle Co., Paula. She will share all her best tips and tricks for blending, scenting and colouring your natural soap.

There’s nothing more relaxing than discovering something new, working with your hands and bonding in convivial company. You will learn a new skill, experiment with creating you own scents and blends, and will leave with all the soaps you make to take home or gift to their friends and family.

Most beginner level melt and pour soap workshops merely cover colouring and scenting of soap bases. At Go Create we’ve created an extreme version: to push melt and pour to its limits. We’ll cover melt and pour from all angles to ensure you have a good understanding of soap making basics and how to exploit melt and pour to its potential.
