Welcome to TIME FOR MAGIC, a series of workshops where you can create your own, tailor made natural skincare. These are hands-on workshops, where you will have an opportunity to experiment with a wide range of natural ingredients under the watchful eye of Joanna.

The average woman is said to use a dozen personal care products containing on average 168 chemical ingredients a day. These chemicals affect our hormonal and reproductive systems, with enhanced and unexpected health effects we often won't see until later.

Joanna's professional background is in the product development in the medical sector, in wound care, infection prevention and specifically in skincare. She is passionate about skincare and sharing her knowledge about natural, organic and vegan skincare. 

For her good skincare should all be focused on well-being, maintaining healthy and best-looking skin, preventing premature ageing. It should be result-driven, pleasant and practical to use and most importantly safe. We do not need to use products with numerous synthetic ingredients that overtime will accumulate in our bodies. 

Our skin undergoes constant changes; seasonal, hormonal and age related. Caring for your skin is personal. It is about you creating daily habits that work for you specifically, taking into consideration your skin type, age, lifestyle and environment. In my workshops I want you to get to know your skin, in order to respect and feed it well from the outside with quality ingredients. As we have learnt to pay attention and understand what we eat, we should learn to understand what we feed our skin with.

We offer both Cold Process Soap Making or Melt and Pour Soap Making.
Cold Process Soap Making - This is proper soap making and Involves using oils and a caustic soda solution to make soap with the traditional cold process method - but don´t worry, you will be in expert hands, You'll be guided by the talented soap and candle making expert and award-winning founder of Old Bexley Soap & Candle Co., Paula. She will share all her best tips and tricks for blending, scenting and colouring your natural soap.

There’s nothing more relaxing than discovering something new, working with your hands and bonding in convivial company. You will learn a new skill, experiment with creating you own scents and blends, and will leave with all the soaps you make to take home or gift to their friends and family.

All the soap making supplies are provided for you and brought right to your venue. This includes high vegetable oils and butters and essential oils which you will use to create a signature scent. Most beginner level melt and pour soap workshops merely cover colouring and scenting of soap bases. At Go Create we’ve created an extreme version: to push melt and pour to its limits. We’ll cover melt and pour from all angles to ensure you have a good understanding of soap making basics and how to exploit melt and pour to its potential.  During the workshop you’ll make at least 10 soap samples which each cover  a different creative technique. But be warned, some may look and smell too good to use.
