What you will do

6 hour workshop

Daytime

The monoprint is a versatile and enduring favourite with almost every printmaker. It is a spontaneous and immediate way to make an image in either colour or monochrome. The process is refreshingly simple : the printmaker freely draws, paints or wipes the inky design directly onto a substrate. As the name implies, the monoprint is a unique image. There is no other like it. It exists as a singular image that cannot be identically repeated. Learn how to mark make with brushes and rollers. Create amazing colour effects with transparent layers. Use the equipment in one of the best and creative UK studios. This course is suitable for all levels of printmaking experience.
