All materials included. You will work at 30 x 20 cm.

On this course you will make collagraph plates on acrylic sheets, thinking about how to make the most of different marks and the layers of colour possible by overprinting and by inking a la poupee. You will make marks with sandpaper, carborundum and acrylic paints, glue and mediums. The current studio exhibition by James Anderson will provide inspiration and you will look at artists Hughie O'Donahue, Gillian Ayres and Howard Hodgkin also.

Things to remember

Please bring a sketchbook, drawings, paintings or photographs to work from. Different size brushes will be useful- both soft and bristle brushes.
